PRICE STOCK # VIN CONDITION TRANSMISSION EXTERIOR INTERIOR
$9,500 N/A TCT114894UMF Good Manual Yellow Black/Yellow

DESCRIPTION

This 1981 Triumph TR7 has been fitted with a carbureted 4.0-liter Rover V8, along with what is believed to be a TR8 rear differential, power steering, suspension components, accessory tachometer, graphics, and various other original TR8 parts. The car presents as a factory TR8; however, the VIN indicates a TR7 equipped with a Rover SD1 all-aluminum V8. It is a very convincing clone—if indeed it is a clone. Research indicates that some TR7-tagged cars were factory-built as TR8s. The safest description is that this is a high-quality TR8 reproduction.

The car is finished in factory FAB Yellow over a black interior with yellow accents. Additional equipment includes a five-speed manual transmission, tubular headers, a padded roll bar, TR8-style rear battery relocation, dual exhaust system, Panasport wheels, an upgraded black canvas soft top, and a new clutch master cylinder installed in December 2025. The engine compartment would benefit from cleaning and detailing.

This V8-powered TR7 is being offered with a clean Washington title in the dealer’s name.
