1955 Chevrolet 210 Custom Paint Resto-mod

DESCRIPTION

1955 Chevy 210 Post Resto-mod/restoration in progress. Dry West Coast survivor that our shop has completed extensive restoration and mechanical updates on, including a Tri-Carb 327 V8, 4-speed manual transmission, and standard rear end installed. A 1955–57 Posi rear end is included. As-new American Racing aluminum mag wheels are included in the sale. The previous owner had the interior restored.

We added a new Mustang II–style front end with power disc brakes, power steering, upgraded suspension, tilt wheel, and more.

The most unique part of the car is the paint. The previous owner was a professional car painter and applied between 7–8 colors of paint over decades (the LH front fender has fewer layers). I personally sanded through multiple layers of paint and primer to create a “flame”-type effect throughout the body of the car. It is not yet completed, but very close. These areas have been color-sand polished to create a layered color effect—almost an agate/cloisonné enamel look that is extremely unique and eye-catching.

Final engine wiring, exhaust, engine accessories, and driveline work still need to be completed by the next owner. Our fabrication/motorsports team could complete some or all of the remaining work at a fair price.

An optional engine is available for an additional price: a Chevy ZZ4 crate small-block with very minimal miles, along with optional chrome and serpentine belt kits.
